Reseller validation for account management
In this release, we have implemented a Reseller Validation feature within the Adobe integration to enhance account management and prevent issues arising from multiple accounts associated with a single customer. This feature blocks purchases or updates if initiated by a reseller other than the one originally associated with the customer.
Key benefits
- Prevents multiple accounts: Ensures that a single customer cannot have multiple accounts, promoting consistency and reducing account management challenges.
- Improved account integrity: Restricts account changes to the reseller originally associated with the customer, ensuring proper ownership and minimizing errors.
Prerequisite
Ensure that there are no multiple accounts associated with a single customer in your production environment. Coordinate with your AppDirect technical representative to validate your environment and address any issues before activation.
